The Ile Tudy oyster nursery is located in Brittany next to a pond which is also SATMAR property. The pond is used to produce phytoplankton to feed the spat. An automated water intake system is operated to optimise water exchange between the pond and the open sea. The spat is graded and packed in a modern workhouse.
