All Satmar’s clam production transits through Saint-Philibert to be purified and packaged before shipment, mainly for export.
The site is in the process of being expanded. In addition to clams, the production of 18-month-old oysters has been developed in recent years in the Arradon and Trinité beds. Ultimately, about ten hectares of beds will be operational.
