SATMAR is established since 1972. The company makes an annual turnover of 6 million Euros and employs 51 people.
Our main activities are to produce and sell:
- Oyster and clam spat.
- Market-size oysters and clams.
- Pre-fattened and 18 months oysters.
Satmar has production facilities all along the French coastline (Channel, Atlantic, Mediterranean). There are 2 hatcheries, 3 micronurseries, 4 nurseries, 2 grow-out farms and pertaining workshops.
This specific layout puts SATMAR in a position to supply top quality products all the year round.
The SATMAR export activity is substantial and our commercial staff is used to pack and ship to France and abroad.
